Practical information about our ski and snowboard lessons

Participants

Private lessons available for as few as one student.
Maximum of 8 students per group class for optimal attention.
Maximum of 6 students for the midday class.
Maximum of 4 children for the toddler classes.

Age

We accept children of any age, provided they want to ski!
This is often around the age of 3.
For snowboarding, it is usually around age 8.

Duration

Private lesson: 1 hr, 1.5 hrs, 2 hrs, or longer
Group lesson: 2.5 hrs per day/lesson.
Toddler group lesson: 2 hrs per day/lesson.

Group lessons
Morning: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
Toddlers: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Midday (February only): 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Afternoon:
Christmas: 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
February: 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Snowboard: 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Languages

Lessons can be given in French, English, and other languages (italian & spanish) ​​depending on our instructors' availability. Please feel free to contact us with any specific requests.

Course structure

Discover how a group lesson at ESI des 7 Laux unfolds, from the welcome to the first glides on the slopes.
1. Activities
Before your arrival, we help you select the activity that best suits your level, age and desires.
2. Days & Times
Group classes are offered throughout the week, with morning, afternoon, or midday slots depending on the time of year. Check our schedule to choose the day and time that best suits you.
3. Reservation
Book your group lessons or private lessons online or directly with our team. Make sure you choose the package, day, and time that best suits your skiing preferences.
4. See you on the big day
The students meet at the designated meeting point (usually the Prapoutel snow front). The instructor presents the session's program and forms groups according to skill level.
5. Warm-up and preparation
A few minutes are devoted to warm-up and safety instructions, as well as checking the equipment.
6. Experience it
Dive into the heart of the slopes at Les 7 Laux and let our instructors guide you to experience unique moments on the slopes, combining learning, fun and thrills!

Station access

How to get to Les 7 Laux?

The 7 Laux resort is easily accessible by car via the A41 and A43 motorways, which connect Grenoble and Chambéry-Geneva. Depending on your starting point, you can take the Goncelin-Le Touvet or Brignoud exits to reach the different areas of the resort (Prapoutel, Pleynet, or Pipay).

The journey from Grenoble to 7 Laux by car takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

In winter, remember to equip your vehicle with snow tires or chains when conditions require them to ensure your safety on mountain roads.

The 7 Laux resort is accessible by train via Grenoble train station.

From Grenoble, you can reach 7 Laux by shuttle or taxi. The journey to the main sites (Prapoutel, Pleynet, Pipay) takes approximately 40 minutes.

Remember to check the shuttle schedules for seasonal services, especially during school holidays and the winter season, for a smooth and stress-free transfer.

The closest airports to Les 7 Laux are Grenoble Alpes-Isère (GNB) and Lyon-Saint-Exupéry (LYS).

From the airport, you can reach the resort by rental car, taxi, or shuttle. The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the airport and traffic conditions.

We recommend planning your transfer in advance, especially in winter, to make the most of your time on the slopes.
